Therapeutic Reflexology

Reflex
Relax. Restore. Rebalance.
Balance Begins from Within
Therapeutic Reflexology is a holistic, gentle, and non-invasive therapy that encourages the body to heal and balance itself, promoting overall health and well-being. The reflexology theory is that every organ in the body is reflected on certain areas of the feet, legs, hands, face, and ears. A Therapeutic reflexologist can authoritatively and professionally design a treatment protocol, within the pain tolerance level of the patient, to relax and bring balance to all the body systems by using specific protocols and techniques to manipulate the pressure points on the hands and feet.
The Benefits
How Pregnancy Massage May Support You
Improved Blood and Lymphatic Circulation:
The stimulation on specific points creates physiological changes, releasing oxygen and nutrients to tissues and vital organs. This improved circulation delivers more oxygen and nutrients to your cells, promoting optimal function, cell regeneration, and faster healing. Additionally, better circulation helps eliminate toxins, strengthens the immune system, and enhances overall well-being.
Boosted Immune System:
Reflexology boosts the immune system by stimulating the lymphatic system, helping remove toxins and waste, fighting infections with white blood cells, enhancing the body’s natural detox process, and strengthening immune health. Regular reflexology sessions can benefit conditions like chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, or lupus, relieving inflammation and pain.
Diabetes Mellitus:
When foot reflexology massage is applied to diabetic patients, it reduces neuropathy complaints, changes the hemoglobin level, increases peripheral circulation, and has a positive effect on general fatigue and mood. Reflexology aims to stimulate the reflexes of the endocrine glands and organs responsible for the metabolism of glucose and associated with hyperglycemia in diabetes. Massaging certain reflex points allows the blood glucose levels to return to the normal range.
Hormonal Balance:
It can help regulate hormonal imbalances, benefiting conditions like PMS, menopause, Fertility etc.
Stress and Relaxation:
Reflexology offers a natural way to manage stress. Targeting points on the feet linked to the body’s stress response system calms the nervous system and induces relaxation. Therefore, aiding in overall well-being.
Pain Relief:
Reflexology can alleviate pain by targeting specific reflex points. It is particularly effective for headaches, back pain, and menstrual cramps.
Improved Digestion:
Pressure applied to these points regulates digestive processes, stimulates the gut, and restores balance. It helps relax digestive muscles and improve blood circulation, providing relief from common digestive issues like bloating and constipation.
Better Sleep Quality:
Reflexology regulates hormones like melatonin and cortisol by stimulating reflex points linked to the nervous system and endocrine glands, promoting regular sleep. It also reduces stress, aids insomnia, and improves sleep quality.
Enhanced Nerve Function:
Reflexology is closely connected to the central nervous system, which controls information flow to and from specific body parts. Improved nerve function can benefit conditions like neuropathy, diabetes-associated issues, and nerve damage-related conditions like fibromyalgia.
