Joy Thomas-Nutt
Registered Therapeutic Massage Therapist
Joy’s love for working with and assisting people initially led her to the Tourism and Hospitality industries.
In 2016 she began feeling compelled to make a change and decided to walk in Faith and pursue a career using her God given talent and desire to assist in healing. Joy registered at Camelot International Health & Skin Care attaining her qualifications in 2017 - graduating 1st in her class, specializing in Sports Massage Therapy. Her further qualifications include ITEC (International Therapy Examinations Council): Sports & Swedish Massage Figure Diagnosis and Body Electrical Treatments.
During her studies, Joy continued to be involved in the hospitality industry. Her previous experience with high profile clientele augmented her ability to perform to world class standards and she worked as a free lance massage therapist at some of Cape Town’s premium hotels. In addition, she started volunteering at Sister Incorporated, a haven for women who survived domestic violence and abuse. To this day, she continues to run a program to assist the women heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually through Massage Therapy. In September 2018, Joy started her own massage therapy business - JTN Therapeutic Massage Therapy – and joined Delgado Chiropractic as an associate. Her use of massage works in synergy with Dr Robert Delgado to speed up their client’s recovery - transforming the thought patterns of their brain to help redirect the body’s energies to optimize the healing process. When not at work Joy spends quality time with her husband, family and friends striving to create moments that will always be remembered.
In the words of Armin Houman - “Life is not measured by time. It is measured by moments.”

Vinolia AuKung
Registered
Therapeutic Massage & Reflexology Therapist
While Vinolia might be a newbie to JTN, her love for therapy started when seeing her great grandmother always working on people to help improve their health. It was a fascinating form of healing that her great grandmother seemed to have an intrinsic knowledge for. Vinolia knew she needed to know more and decided to take her natural passion for therapy and pursue this as a career.
Vinolia always wanted to be a Physiotherapist but found the focus tended to be purely on the physiology of the body. For her, something was missing. This is when she learnt about Therapeutic Massage Therapy. She extended her expertise to include reflexology and is fascinated by the language of the feet. Vinolia studied Therapeutic massage from 2020-2021 and Therapeutic reflexology in 2022, graduating both courses in 2023 at Potchefstroom Academy.
Vinolia loves and enjoys what she does and wouldn’t change it for anything. She's happy that she gets to do what her great grandmother did and can share her values of empathy, care, growth and healing for so many people. It’s both exciting and humbling to know that with touch and guidance from God, Vinolia gets to change people’s lives for the better.
In her spare time, Vinolia loves exploring new things especially in the kitchen, she even regards herself as a chef, in her “Nara Smith” era. Not a day goes by without her singing and listening to songs. For a bit of down time, Vinolia also loves watching tiktok and K-drama.
Always remember that massage is the art of touch that heals the body and soul.
